The aim of inversion is the extraction of information from a set of seismic measurements and acoustic well logs for the better understanding of subsurface geology. Conventional approach uses post stack data. With prestack inversion supported by P-S logs we can more accurately estimate elastic properties and fluid content within the reservoir.
