The data set produced daily by a seismic field crew undergo daily quality control processing, performed in a field data processing centre. This is the most efficient way to reveal any data acquisition problem within the earliest possible time. Since huge computing power may be deployed to a field crew, even final result of the data processing can be produced by the end of the field campaign, ready for geological interpretation.
